The Bidirectional Solid-Core Filter Drier is a device that contains desiccant and ફિલtration material to protect a refrigeration system from moisture and other contaminants. It also provides high moisture and acid removal capacity. The combined drying and filtration effect allows installation at both ends without backflow. Additionally, bidirectional operation can intercept particles that may have circulated through the system.
With a low pressure drop design, the system can achieve improved energy efficiency during operation. It is mainly intended for repair work on heat pump or aerothermal systems. Filtration: 20 microns. Epoxy coating finish resistant to corrosion, with salt spray test exceeding 500 hours. Two connection methods: solder and SAE threaded. Sizes: 1/4 to 5/8. Maximum working pressure: 4.7 MPa / 680 Psig (47 bar), UL certified.

Bidirectional Solid-Core Filter Drier in professional installations
In this case, this component is integrated into refrigeration, heat pump and aerothermal circuits where moisture control, particle retention and protection against contaminants are required. Therefore, it is especially useful in corrective maintenance and repair operations. Furthermore, its bidirectional operation facilitates its application in reversible systems, commonly found in HVAC equipment.
Technical advantages for distribution and supply
For distributors, warehouses and technical hardware stores, this product offers relevant features for a professional installer-focused range. On one hand, it includes both solder and SAE threaded connections, increasing adaptability to different installation configurations. On the other hand, the size range from 1/4 to 5/8 covers common stock requirements. Additionally, the epoxy coating improves performance in demanding environments and during long-term storage.
